CUPE 1698 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting is held every March on a Sunday evening to allow as many members as possible access outside of work time.

Like Sunday General meetings, the AGM is held in person at the CUPE Fraser Valley Area Office and on Zoom. Instructions for in-person access will be sent with the Zoom invitation.

At the AGM, the membership can nominate and hear from other members who wish to run for elected office on the Executive Committee. Position descriptions can be found in the CUPE 1698 Bylaws and Policy Manual. Elections are held via Simply Voting. Candidates may provide a statement to the membership about their experience or desire to serve in office.

The Executive will meet immediately following the AGM to welcome acclaimed Executive members and to set meeting dates for the coming year.
